- Shift Schedule: Available 24/7, 365, arrival within 4 hours of request
- Pay Information: $60/hour on 1099 (Depending on the experience)
- Job Description:
- Registered Nurse (RN) that can place peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) in patients on an as needed basis.
- RN shall provide all scheduled care and maintenance for the life of the device, all insertion related procedural supplies
- RN shall provide phone support to Facility staff and/or patient 24/7, 365 days a year as needed.
- RN shall provide surveillance and catheter tracking and provide outcome reports with the Nurse Manager (NM) for Infection Prevention & Control
- RN shall be capable of training TVHS staff in maintaining and removing PICC lines
- Requirement: Qualifications Include:
- Two years experience in PICC
- Current RN license - any state
- IV Therapy certification [by Infusion Nurses Society]
- Skills in peripherally inserted central catheters [PICC].
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)
- Able to function independently.
- Available 24/7, 365, arrival within 4 hours of request.
