Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with substance use disorders, including physical, psychological, and social factors, to determine their individualized treatment needs. Medication Management: Administer and monitor medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety and compliance. Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans, setting achievable goals for recovery. Education and Counseling: Provide education to patients and their families regarding addiction, treatment options, and recovery strategies. Offer counseling and support to address emotional and behavioral issues. Monitoring and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medication administration records, in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Safety and Crisis Intervention: Respond to medical emergencies and crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients. Supportive Environment: Foster a supportive and non-judgmental environment for patients, promoting trust and open communication. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Continuing Education: Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in addiction treatment and nursing through ongoing professional development. Qualifications:

- Day shift- 5:30a-2:30p with rotating Saturdays
- Weekly gross $2,960

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Addiction Nursing (CARN) or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
- Strong understanding of addiction and substance abuse treatment protocols.
