Skills and Job Functions
RN will care for babies in the Level II Nursery and will attend all deliveries and C-sections. Minimal babies on ventilators (if baby needs to be on vent for longer than 24 hours then will be shipped out to larger facility). If no babies in Level II nursery, then RN will care for babies in the general nursery.

Level II nursery is 5 bed unit and general nursery is 15 beds, all contained within the same area.

Experience, Licensure and Certifications
Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in Level III NICU is required

Licensed as Registered Nurse in State of Wyoming is required prior to start. CCMH will look at candidates without WY license at time of submission as long as RN is eligible for temp license (clear background screen). CPR/BLS (issued through American Heart Association) and NRP are required. STABLE is preferred.

Schedule requirements
Shifts are 12 hours in length and will be primarily 12 hour nights; 7:00P-7:30A. Department does self-scheduling 6 weeks at a time and RN will be required to work 3 weekends during the 6 week schedule. RN will have the option of picking up extra shifts.

Additional Information
Department utilizes Meditech for physician orders and Client Centricity for charting. Dress code: scrubs are provided by the department.
