Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse (Dialysis) at our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients with end-stage renal disease. Your expertise in dialysis nursing will help improve the quality of life for our patients by ensuring safe and effective dialysis procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional well-being to determine their suitability for dialysis treatment and monitor their condition throughout the procedure. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized care plans, in collaboration with the healthcare team, to address the unique needs and goals of each patient undergoing dialysis. Dialysis Procedures: Administer dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, according to prescribed protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Medication Management: Administer medications, monitor their effects, and educate patients on medication management related to their renal condition. Vascular Access: Monitor and maintain vascular access sites, such as arteriovenous fistulas or grafts, to ensure optimal function and prevent complications. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on renal disease, dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle modifications to promote self-care and adherence to treatment plans. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, treatment progress, and medication administration, in compliance with regulatory standards. Infection Control: Strictly adhere to infection control protocols to minimize the risk of infections associated with dialysis treatment. Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including nephrologists, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to patients experiencing complications during dialysis treatment. Qualifications:

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 5 of nursing experience, with 5 years of experience in dialysis nursing preferred.
- Proficiency in operating dialysis machines and related equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
