Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Correctional Health • Mid Shifts

We're seeking a skilled LVN for a 13•week contract role in our correctional health team. The position involves five 8•hour mid shifts per week, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities:
• Medication administration and blood draws.
• Compliance with CA State law patient ratios.

Requirements:
• Active CA LVN License.
• BLS, LA County Fire Card, IV, MAB/CPI Certifications.
• Two years of psychiatric inpatient experience.
• Experience in secured environments like detention centers or behavioral health units preferred.
• Travel experience beneficial but not mandatory.
• COVID vaccination + booster if eligible.

The role is based in Downey, CA, at a facility offering juvenile court behavioral services, psych, correctional, inpatient, and behavioral health services. Onsite parking and PPE are provided. Uniform preference is navy blue or black scrubs.
