Job Title: Correctional Health • Registered Nurse • Nights
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in correctional health services. This role demands dedication to providing quality care to incarcerated individuals in a secure setting.
Responsibilities:
• Administer medication (Medpass).
• Respond to inmate healthcare requests (Sick Call).
• Perform wound care and dressing changes.
Contract: 20 weeks, 40 hours/week, Night Shift (2130 • 0600)
Requirements:
• Active CA RN License.
• BLS, Fire Card, MAB/CPI Certification.
• Two years of psychiatric inpatient experience.
• Experience in detention center or secured environment preferred.
• Experience with adult inmate patients in medical surgical inpatient facility preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
• COVID vaccination + booster if eligible.
Additional Info:
• Role may require floating between locations.
• Any color scrubs acceptable, Navy Blue or Black preferred.
• PPE provided.
• On•site parking available.
• EMR system: Cerner.
• Role involves working with adult court behavioral services, psych, correctional, and inpatient medical surgical cases.
