Job Description

• Nurse managers are responsible for supervising nursing staff in a hospital or clinical setting.
• They oversee patient care, make management and budgetary decisions, set work schedules, coordinate meetings, and make decisions about personnel.
• Responsible for managing human and financial resources
• Ensures patient and staff satisfaction
• Maintains a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors
• Ensures standards and quality of care are maintained
• Aligns the unit's goals with the hospital's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years current Management experience (Inpatient or clinic setting) - Required
• Supervisory Experience required
• Adequate transportation and Valid Driver License - Required
• BSN - Preferred
• BLS certification
• Active state license
• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
