Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: Trauma, Burn, Surgical ICU experience preferred; BSN and CCRN are a plus Must-Have: - Trauma, Burn, Surgical ICU experience - Strong communication and critical thinking skills Description: Number of Beds: 30 Number of Staff: 85 Day Shift: - 1 CNC/Relief Charge - Number of RNs varies based on census - PCT varies based on census Night Shift: - 1 CNC/Relief Charge - Number of RNs varies based on census - PCT varies based on census Patient Ratios: - 2:1 for ICU - 4:1 for PCU Type of Equipment: - Critical Care Equipment, Burn ICU, and Trauma ICU Technology: - EMR - Meditech Typical Procedures Performed: - Wound care - Codes - EVDs - MTP Best Personality Fit: - Team-based - Not afraid to ask questions - Willing to offer help to others Floating Areas: - MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU or any PCU unit Dress Code: - Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue Weekends: - 2 weekends per pay period requirement
