About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS*, TNCC* Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The position involves night shift work, 3 times a week. A patient ratio of 1:2 will be maintained. Candidates should possess experience in securing and managing patient care. The role requires certifications including BLS and ACLS, as well as knowledge of NIHSS and TNCC protocols. Previous experience with charting systems is required, especially with Epic. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. All candidates must demonstrate expertise in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure. Skills in ventilator management and blood product administration are essential. Candidates should also be familiar with infection prevention protocols and arterial blood gas interpretation. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and enhancement of critical care skills. Travel experience is strongly preferred to help navigate diverse patient needs efficiently.
