Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Manage and assess care for patients with acute or chronic diseases and post-surgical needs
• Coordinate and implement patient discharge planning and education
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry equipment
• Administer and titrate medication drips including insulin, heparin, and amiodarone
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in Med/Tele nursing
• Strong skills with cardiac rhythms and emergency response protocols
• EKG competency exam required during onboarding
