Registered Nurse – Float Med/Surg

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend | Every other holiday | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical/Surgical units as part of a float pool
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout each shift
• Manage and monitor patients requiring BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Adapt quickly to varying unit environments, patient populations, and team dynamics

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
