About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years of MedSurg experience required License: Valid state nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: IV start experience Telemetry experience required Previous travel experience preferred Description: Weekend and rotating holidays are required. Floating to different units of equivalent or lower level of acuity is required as needed. 3 years of MedSurg experience is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Candidates must have experience in IV starts and telemetry. Candidates with previous travel experience are preferred. There is a patient ratio of 4:1 during the day and night shifts. Compliance with credentialing requirements is mandatory. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract. All candidates must provide two professional references, with at least one from a manager or someone in a formal leadership capacity. No coworker references will be accepted. Current employees are ineligible for this position. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
