Job Description / Requirements

As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will care for patients who require a higher level of monitoring and treatment than a medical-surgical unit but do not require intensive care. You will utilize critical thinking, clinical expertise, and strong assessment skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Position Requirements:

• Current State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent paid RN experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Step-Down Unit, Telemetry, or similar acute care setting
• Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills
• Experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions and higher acuity needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
