About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NRP, IFM Must-Have: Candidates must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, and IFM certifications to be considered for the role. Description: Number of Beds: 12 Number of Staff: 9 RNs, 2 New Graduates in orientation, 1 Nurse Educator Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN Type of Equipment: Baxter IV Pumps, GE Fetal Monitoring Electronic Medical Records: CPN, Meditech Skill Set: Candidates with experience in L&D are preferred. Typical Procedures: Routine assessments, fetal monitoring, vital signs, finger sticks Best Personality Fit: Outgoing, eager, and confident individuals are ideal. Floating Areas: Labor and Delivery to care for patients, Postpartum to care for postpartum mothers only. Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs Weekends and On Call: Weekend shifts are required, 4 shifts per 4-week schedule.
