About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year in Cardiovascular Operating Room License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - CVOR experience in cardiac and vascular surgery - At least 2 years of exclusive CVOR experience Description: The role involves working in a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room environment. The unit is equipped with 5 operating rooms, including 1 hybrid room. Staff includes 7 registered nurses and 6 surgical technologists. Typical procedures consist of open and endovascular vascular surgeries. Complex cardiac procedures include, but are not limited to, thoracic aortic dissections, sternotomies, and CABG/AVR/MVR surgeries. Additional responsibilities include performing Impella/ECMO insertions. Candidates should be able to work under pressure and effectively manage emergencies. All staff members are expected to be team players. Weekend call is required for this position. Black scrubs will be provided for work attire.
