Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float Pool) – Days

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3x12s | 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe patient care delivery
• Float between multiple facilities as assigned within the float pool
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Willingness to float between multiple facilities as part of a float pool assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-facility environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to transition between varying patient populations and unit workflows
