About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification Must-Have: Strong critical thinking skills Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience Description: Providing high-quality care to patients. Promise to provide the highest quality of service and treatment. Broad range of specialties including cardiology, cancer care, and emergency medicine. Proud to have some of the best doctors in the area. Unit-specific highlights: Documentation system utilized. Guidelines for badging in and out for shifts are required. Strict attendance policies enforced. On-time clock in is mandatory. Full 30-minute lunch break is required. Procedures performed in the unit include: Chest tubes, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, and dressing changes. Dress code requirements: Navy scrub top and pants required. Clean and healthy nails with neat and clean hair without extreme styles or colors. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. General comments: Floating within the facility may be required. All candidates are expected to comply with unit policies and guidelines.
