Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a high-acuity Medical/Surgical floor serving surgical, trauma, and spinal injury patient populations
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 with support from nursing techs, phlebotomists, and a unit secretary during night shifts
• Complete structured nurse handoff with ED and admitting staff during patient transitions
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to work assigned night shifts with no block scheduling and no requested time off (RTO)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Prior experience caring for surgical, trauma, gunshot wound, quadriplegic, or paraplegic patient populations
