About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty with 1 travel assignment License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in a medical-surgical setting with a ratio of 1:5, possibly 1:6 Description: Strict 75-mile radius from the traveler's driver's license address to the facility. Experience required is a minimum of 2 years in specialty. BLS and NIHSS certifications are required. Ratios are 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights. Telemetry is available but monitored on a different unit. Floating is required to all acute care areas. General orientation period is 1 week and includes training on the electronic medical record system. Floor-specific orientation lasts for 2 days. Housing options are available nearby that are gated, safe, and regularly have availability. Cancellation policy is 12 hours every 2 weeks.
