Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for a contract assignment. The RN Unit Manager will oversee daily nursing operations, supervise clinical staff, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services while maintaining compliance with regulatory and facility standards.


Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing staff within the assigned unit
Coordinate and oversee daily patient care operations
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Assist with staff scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation
Monitor patient outcomes and address clinical concerns promptly
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Participate in quality improvement and performance management initiatives
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
Promote patient safety and high standards of care


Assignment Details

Start Date: 07/06/2026
End Date: 08/31/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 07:00 AM 03:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Contract Length: 9 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week


Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Previous nursing leadership or unit management experience preferred
Strong clinical, leadership, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and team management abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and facility requirements
COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption may be required
Must maintain all required credentials and certifications
