About the Position

Experience with patient ratios is required. Charting system experience is required. Travel experience is required. Description: This position requires a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. The nurse will work a 36/48 hour alternating schedule. Candidates must start on the designated start date. The role involves managing various patient needs across different age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census in the unit is around 8 patients. The nursing staff will support interdisciplinary services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The position involves administering medications and managing various medical devices. Ability to access and manage ports, administer blood products, and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips is necessary. The nurse will participate in rapid response and code teams as needed. Flexibility to float to other units may be required. Candidates must be able to complete all necessary lab items within a specified timeframe upon acceptance of the position.
