About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - 2 years of Cath Lab experience - 1+ year of ICU, ER, or PACU experience License: - Active RN License Certifications: - ACLS - BLS Must-Have: - Experience with recovery of cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, PFOs, CTOs, and EP procedures such as pacemakers, BiV, AICD, and Cryo Description: Supervisory or higher references are required at the time of submission. Candidates must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience and at least 1 year of experience in ICU, ER, or PACU. An active RN license is required. Certification in ACLS and BLS is necessary. First-time travelers are accepted. On-call requirements include 1-2 nights a week. Weekend coverage is expected 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks. No floating is required. Pending licenses are not accepted; applicants must have an active license at the time of submission. Candidate should have experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, left and right heart catheterization, and percutaneous coronary interventions. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services among others. Daily census in the unit is around 12 patients. Compliance modules are required pre-start and annually, tailored to the specialty. Maximum RTO is 10 days, and no time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
