Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery unit throughout the night shift
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Support and educate breastfeeding mothers in alignment with evidence-based infant feeding standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately within the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be current and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
