About the Position

Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year in CVOR License: NY State License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Travel experience preferred Description: The CVOR RN will provide direct patient care in the CVOR setting. Must have at least 1 year of experience in CVOR. Shifts may vary, including 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, or 8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is required. Charting system experience is required. Charting system is Epic. Specialized skills required include aortocaval fistula repair, coronary artery bypass graft, and thoracotomy. Experience with specific procedures such as cardiac monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement is necessary. Must comply with all health and safety regulations. Candidates should be prepared to start compliance processes immediately. Two supervisory clinical references are required. Preference will be given to candidates with prior travel experience. Local candidates may be considered. Allied certifications must be included with the application. Modules will be required. Candidates must ensure all necessary information is accurately represented in their submissions.
