About the Position

Travel ICU/PCU RN is needed to start ASAP in a Hospital in Nebraska. NE or compact license is required. ACLS and BLS are required. TNCC, ENPC and or PALS must be obtained within one year of hire. Shifts are 3, 12 hour shifts - must be able to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays as needed to fill their open shifts. 3 years of experience is required. ICU - 1:2 ratio. PCU: 1:2 or 1:3 or 1:4. OPENING NEW PROGRESSIVE CARE UNIT - WILL TAKE NURSES WITH TELEMETRY EXPERIENCE, PCU EXPERIENCE, ETC. NURSES WILL FLOAT TO PCU AND ICU. The Registered Nurse (RN) works under the general supervision of the Department Director. The RN utilizes the nursing process to plan and deliver quality nursing care to assigned patients . The RN utilizes critical thinking to plan and select appropriate interventions for patient care that result in the desired patient outcomes. The RN directs and accepts the responsibility for immediate supervision of assistive personnel. The RN delegates care appropriately according to nursing practice standards.
