Contract | Nights | 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM | 5/2 Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor using OBIX fetal monitoring system
• Document patient care and clinical data accurately using MedHost EMR
• Collaborate with LPN staff who support OB and Nursery areas connected to the unit
• Support a unit averaging approximately 15–25 deliveries per month

Required Qualifications

• Active Louisiana RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of submission
• AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required at time of submission
• AWHONN certification required at time of submission
• Prior Labor & Delivery RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with OBIX fetal monitoring software
• Experience with MedHost EMR
