Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Rotate weekend shifts on an every-other-weekend basis
• Participate in holiday rotation based on unit needs
• Float to an additional campus location as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to monitor and respond to telemetry data
• Willingness to float to an alternate campus location as required
• Availability for every-other-weekend and rotating holiday shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
