About the Position

Description: Contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Postpartum specialty. This role is for a 13-week assignment with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit consists of a 97-bed postpartum area with a Level IV maternal and Level III NICU. Annual birth volume is approximately 12,000, averaging 1,000 births per month. The patient ratio typically ranges from 3:1 to 4:1, occasionally 2:1, depending on acuity. Qualified candidates should be team-oriented and possess strong communication skills. Familiarity with procedures such as non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips, magnesium administration, and heparin drips is preferred. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
