Contract (13 or 26 week options available) | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hour per week options | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical surgical, telemetry, and progressive care to adult pre- and post-transplant patients (liver, kidney, pancreas, intestinal) as well as intestinal rehabilitation patients on a 36-bed unit
• Administer and manage IV drips as required across all floors
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs where assigned
• Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs across multiple units and campuses as required
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:6 on nights, with awareness that ratios may occasionally reach 1:7 based on staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted if not yet in hand at time of submission — placement will be booked six weeks out)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, specifically in a large, urban hospital setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC charting
• Ability to manage IV drips
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
• Prior experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center (required for first-time travelers to be considered)
