About the Position

Job Title: CNA (Nurse Aide) Profession: CNA Specialty: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Any 12-hour shift, Sunday to Saturday, on call as needed Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Alaska RN license Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: 1 year of Long-Term Care experience; BSN preferred Description: Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and principles of primary nursing. Conducts care in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, as well as standards of nursing practice. Skilled in utilizing a PC, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and appropriate clinical databases. Required skills include one year of Long-Term Care experience. A BSN is preferred. The shift for this position is from 6 PM to 6:30 AM. There is no floating required for this role. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 18 during days and 1 to 25 during nights. The dress code for this position is scrubs. General and Planetree orientation is required.
