About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital Telemetry experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience - BLS & ACLS certifications Description: This position involves providing care in a telemetry unit. The unit consists of 32 beds with a staffing ratio of 4 or 5 patients per nurse during night shifts. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter. The equipment used includes the GE Telemetry system, utilizing Meditech for electronic medical records. Ideal candidates are outgoing, team players willing to take initiative. Experience with post-op CABG patients is preferred. Common procedures include IV and foley catheter insertions and chest tube removals. This position offers valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates must exhibit a willingness to cooperate and collaborate effectively with all team members. Our goal is to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere for both staff and patients.
