Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active state license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - Experience with surgical patients following ERAS program - Proficient in orthopedic and neurosurgery care - Experience with medical-surgical patients across a variety of nursing needs Description: This position requires a registered nurse working 12-hour shifts during the day. The nurse will care for medical-surgical patients with various diagnoses. Common patients include those with diabetes, COPD, renal issues, infectious diseases, and other complexities. Post-surgical experience is required, especially in orthopedic and neurological surgeries. Nurses will be responsible for maintaining patient care standards in fast-paced environments. The expected patient ratio is 1:5-6. Weekend shifts are required every other week. The nurse will float as needed to other floors within the service line. No additional accommodations for scheduling will be considered. Travelers must comply with all facility requirements throughout the assignment.
