About the Position

Associate degree in nursing 2. 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty 3. Strong focus on patient-centered care Description: This is a multi-specialty unit primarily focused on medical/surgical and telemetry patients. Nurses must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. The unit offers 36 hours per week and requires availability for holidays and every other weekend. This is an ideal nursing unit for developing a solid foundation in nursing skills while fostering a culture of teamwork. The unit is a 24/7 acute care facility that specializes in medical and surgical care with a capacity to accommodate multiple patients. Medical patients include those requiring dialysis and telemetry monitoring, along with other acute medical needs. Surgical patients include those undergoing orthopedic and general surgical procedures. The dedicated team of nursing and ancillary staff provides patient-centered care to support recovery, aiming for optimal outcomes. There is a strong focus on pain management, mobility, and the prevention of complications. The team is committed to ensuring a pleasant and comfortable patient experience in a safe environment. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, supported by a team leader who is not involved in staffing.
