About the Position

Telemetry experience required. Previous Charge RN experience preferred. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing. The nurse will work in a unit primarily focused on medical surgical patients, with an emphasis on telemetry. The shifts will be nights, 3 times a week. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing assessments. The patient population will include adults and geriatrics with diverse medical needs. The ideal candidate will be flexible with scheduling and committed to patient care excellence. The nurse will be required to float if necessary. Compliance with all safety and health protocols is essential. Candidates must be prepared for a Pass/Fail EKG exam. Advanced skills in managing various medical conditions are necessary, including respiratory issues and post-operative care. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must possess knowledge of electronic health record systems. The ability to administer blood products and manage various medical devices is expected. A commitment to education and professional development in nursing practice is essential.
