This role is within a dynamic medical/surgical intensive care unit, uniquely focused on critically ill neuro patients requiring specialized nursing care. Key Responsibilities of the Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients with traumatic brain injuries, aneurysms, status epilepticus, strokes, and other critical neurological conditions
• Utilize strong critical thinking and organizational skills in a high-pressure environment
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on critical care practices
• Monitor patients using telemetry and other vital equipment

Requirements of the Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years of RN experience with ICU acute care
• Telemetry experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS certification
