Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements as outlined by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-start
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within required deadlines to avoid start date delays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency room environment
• Familiarity with high-volume, acute care emergency department workflows
