About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing required. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred. - Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 on nights. - Must have iCare experience. - Must have at least 18 months of med/surg experience. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse within the Medical Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool. Candidates will be responsible for providing care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patient populations. Daily patient load includes various medical and surgical cases. Nurses must be proficient in the management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Oncology care will be limited to general care; administering chemotherapy is not required. Nurses may be required to float to different units per facility needs. Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services among others. Candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of total joint replacement and ortho trauma. Candidate must comply with all facility requirements and maintain necessary certifications throughout the assignment. All nurses are expected to manage their time effectively within assigned shifts. Weekend coverage may be required as per the needs of the facility. Candidates should be committed to providing high-quality patient care and support throughout their shifts.
