Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures and anesthesia.

Continuously assess, monitor, and document patients' vital signs, pain levels, and recovery progress.

Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or post-operative complications.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, medications, and recovery expectations.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting comfort, safety, and positive clinical outcomes.
