Job Title: Nurse Manager Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of nursing experience License: Current RN license Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing required. Minimum of 5 years of operating room experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience with abdominal transplant cases. Minimum of 2-5 years of solid and consistent leadership/management experience. Description: Manages and has 24/7 responsibility for the nursing practice, patient care delivery, human and fiscal resources, and regulatory compliance of a patient care unit. Maintains a professional environment that supports the delivery of high-quality patient and family-centered care. Manages and leads team members, operations, and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shifts. Responsible for recruitment and retention, team building, and staff cross-training. Other related duties as required.
