This position involves working within an acute care setting, engaging with a variety of patient diagnoses such as cardiac conditions and post-procedural care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide care to patients with cardiac diagnoses and post-procedural recovery
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips such as cardizem, amio, and nitro
• Monitor and interpret telemetric data; print strips and identify rhythms
• Collaborate with attending physicians and respiratory therapists
• Participate in a rotating schedule with potential weekend and holiday assignments

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/PCU experience
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and cardiac drip management
