About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of full-time clinical nursing experience. Minimum 2 years of current experience in peritoneal dialysis in an outpatient setting. Prior experience in education and training patients in peritoneal dialysis within the last 3 years. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: Ability to float to different units as required by facility. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in dialysis. The shift consists of four 10-hour workdays, from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM. The nurse is expected to take on-call shifts, including a 12-hour shift every other Sunday and a 3-hour shift approximately twice weekly after regular shifts. Weekend work is required, with scheduled shifts every other Saturday and on-call duty on Sunday. A maximum of 5 days of requested time off is allowed, with no more than 2 consecutive days. No time off is allowed on holidays, the day before or after holidays, or on weekends. Floating to different units is mandatory to meet the facility's needs. Clinicians can be floated across various units, including their specialty. If floating outside their primary competency, support will be provided through a team-based care model. References from recent employers are required prior to starting. The candidate must comply with all necessary documentation and health requirements prior to beginning the assignment.
