About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: BLS certification from an approved vendor ACLS certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: No hits on state license to practice Driver’s license to verify residency Completed PCU skills checklist within the last 12 months Description: The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that floats throughout various campuses to provide support where necessary. This includes caring for adult health patients across various units. PCU travelers may be floated to different units during their contract. Occasionally, they may be floated to the emergency department or recovery unit to take adult health patients with inpatient orders waiting for a bed on a unit, though this is not common. Candidates must meet specific requirements including a minimum of 24 months of relevant experience, active certifications, and a clean license record. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments will expedite the hiring process. Please ensure all information is documented and candidates are ready to accept positions as needed.
