About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required, acute care rehab experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with interpreting dysrhythmias and EKGs - Proficiency with EPIC charting system Description: This position requires working night shifts for three 12-hour shifts per week. The nurse will care for patients with neurological diagnoses including CVA, TBI, ABI, and spinal cord injury. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Staff are required to float among various units if necessary. Mandatory compliance processes must be completed on time before the start of the assignment. Candidates must be prepared to pass an EKG exam. Travelers should be flexible with scheduling and are expected to adhere to policies regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. The role involves medication reconciliation, vital signs monitoring, and dressing changes. Candidates with experience in inpatient rehab care are highly desirable. The department provides specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs.
