Job Title

Registered Nurse – Newborn Nursery / Transition Nursery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to newborn and transitional nursery patients with a 1:3 patient ratio (1:1 for Vapotherm patients)
• Perform Apgar and Ballard assessments on newborns
• Administer medications and manage Vapotherm therapy as indicated
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including panda warmers, cribs, NRP equipment, and hospital-grade breast pumps
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum 1 year of Newborn Nursery or related nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• STABLE Program certification
• Experience with Vapotherm therapy in a newborn or neonatal setting
• Familiarity with Meditech/CPN electronic medical records
