About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry (Float Pool) – Nights

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 48-hour guarantee considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe patient care delivery
• Float between multiple facilities within the network as assigned, adapting to varying unit needs and patient populations
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license (required prior to start)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry or Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Willingness and ability to float between multiple facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience working in a float pool environment across multiple units or facilities
• Familiarity with a 6:1 patient ratio environment
