About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830) | On-site | Call required (1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month minimum; additional call may be required based on departmental need) | Float to other facilities as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine physical, mental, and spiritual needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans, providing explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties
• Apply nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition in a timely manner
• Perform scrub and circulating duties for heavy orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic surgical procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in accordance with facility standards
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Operating Room experience with scrub and/or circulating responsibilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic, urology, spine, and/or robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Ability and willingness to float to additional facilities as needed
