Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3 shifts per week, Sunday–Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting with varied patient ratios (Labor 1:1–2, Nursery 1:6, Postpartum 1:6, Mother/Baby 1:3 couplets)
• Deliver postpartum care and support to patients and newborns following delivery
• Assist with nursery care as needed
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility EMR (Centricity)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Nursery experience preferred
• Familiarity with Centricity EMR
