Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Stepdown)

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care (PCU/Stepdown) setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than general medical-surgical floors
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state nursing license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
• Candidates with fewer than 2 years of RN experience must have prior travel nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown unit setting
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
