About the Position

Description

The Medical Care Unit caters to less acute patients awaiting placement, providing essential nursing care. Nurses will float between the unit and Inpatient Rehab, requiring telemetry experience. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, and evaluation while interacting with patients and health team members. The position also includes occasional on-call responsibilities during low census periods, requiring the nurse to arrive on-site promptly. Weekend rotations are expected.
