About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 1.5 years required License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology is required. Travel experience is required. Description: Shifts are from 06:30 to 15:00, Monday through Friday. Call is required for 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Minimum 1.5 years of experience is needed in the operating room. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Davinci Robotics, endovascular procedures, and eye surgeries. Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census averages 45 patients, with patient ratios of 1:1 on days, nights, and weekends. The unit has 14 rooms and 14 beds. Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler. All requests for time off must be listed at the time of submission. Modules are non-billable and must be completed onsite. Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory.
